About Microsoft Virtualization Solutions

This intensive course enhances the knowledge and skills of the participants for designing the complicated data centers and desktop architectures by using Windows Server 2008 R2 along with Hyper-V or Hyper-V Server 2008 R2, System Center Suite, RDS, MED-V, and Application Virtualization 4.6 including the utilities and applications supported. The course focuses to train the students on the considerations of architecture, technology solutions, and the requirements for management to be integrating for building lucrative virtualization infrastructures.

Prerequisites

 Basic understanding of Hyper-V, RDS, MED-V, and App-V
 Understanding of SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM, SCDPM
 Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2

Module 1: Evaluating the Environment for Virtualization

This module provides an overview of Microsoft virtualization technologies and the various components of System Center 2012 R2. The module also explains how to evaluate the current environment for virtualization and extend virtualization to the cloud.
